## かける
|
|
|
|
Means "half", "not yet finished", "in the middle of".

Made by removing the ます stem of a verb.

## 一方だ
|
|
|
|
{一方|いっぽう}だ means "to continue to", "more and more".
|

Used with verbs that expresses change.
